The ocean is where Raw Potential began, and protecting it is part of everything we do. As a proud company member of the Marine Conservation Society, the UK's leading ocean charity, a percentage of every purchase supports their work to protect our seas, shores and marine life.
We also get our hands dirty. Our team joins beach cleans that feed into the charity's national Beachwatch data, helping to turn the litter we pick up into evidence for change.

3KG LESS LITTER
In September 2026 we joined the Marine Conservation Society's Great British Beach Clean on Brighton Beach. Along a 100-metre stretch of coastline we collected, sorted and recorded the litter we found: cigarette butts, vape waste, broken glass, bottle tops, wrappers, plastic fragments and even a plastic clothing tag. In one hour we removed around 3kg of litter.
Every item was counted for the charity's Beachwatch survey, part of a national dataset the Marine Conservation Society uses to track pollution and campaign to stop litter reaching our seas. In 2025, volunteers recorded an average of 141 pieces of litter per 100 metres, 87% of it plastic or containing plastic, and plastic was found on 99.5% of beaches surveyed.
That's why we choose recycled fabrics and plantable seed-paper tags instead of plastic, and why a percentage of every Raw Potential purchase supports the Marine Conservation Society's work.
