Our mission was to create a forward-thinking product range that minimises its own environmental impact during production while also addressing the urgent need to reduce waste and plastic pollution. With actions not words at the centre of our vision, our innovative fabric blend is carefully crafted using recycled materials, such as discarded fishing nets and ocean plastics, to give them a new life and purpose. Designed to be cherished and worn for years to come, our capsule collection embodies durability and quality. We firmly believe in a 'no garment to landfill’ policy and have consciously limited our stock numbers to ensure that each piece finds its rightful place in someone's wardrobe. This approach not only reduces waste but also encourages a shift towards a more mindful and sustainable approach to fashion.

We have incorporated a unique feature into our merchandising by infusing our tags with ready-to-plant wildflower seeds. By planting and growing these seeds, our customers have a choice to actively contribute to the restoration of our natural ecosystems. Raw Potential are dedicated to continuously exploring new avenues to promote positive environmental change. We aim to raise awareness about sustainable practices and empower individuals to make environmentally conscious choices. After a long search for a suitable production facility for Raw Potential, we chose a family business in the hills of Portugal which consistently goes above and beyond to uphold environmental standards.

FROM RECYCLED PLASTICS

OUR FABRICS

We design and create responsibly-produced beachwear that is inspired by the breathtaking beauty of nature. Our unique swimwear designs embody the world around us through intricate embroidery, hand-stitched beading, and textured embellishments.

Accountability is at the core of our values. All Raw Potential swimwear is crafted using an innovative material made from post-and pre-consumer waste. Recycled nylon, fishing nets, and other discarded ocean plastics that are pulled from our seas are transformed into a soft-touch yet durable fabric and then into beautiful swimwear.

We strive to create a fabric lifecycle that is as circular as possible. By incorporating waste plastics into our materials, we make our own small contribution to reducing ocean pollution and protecting marine life.

We want to inspire people to embrace their free-spirited and adventurous selves through our beachwear. These are garments designed to be worn close to the skin so comfort is as important as durability and style.
